Now that the nextjobs MVP has been finished and is now in open beta, its worth taking a look at some of the features i'm planning for the road ahead.

Payments

It's always been the plan to develop single payments and subscriptions to make it as convenient as possible for companies to post jobs either by paying for single job post or for unlimited via a subscription.

Improved job suggestions

Currently users are able to tag their profile with the tech they're using and most experienced with. In the pipeline, jobs that match your tags will be highlighted and possibly have their own category, making it easier to match the right jobs with the right developers.

Enhanced company profiles

Currently the company profile options are fairly limited with only a website, description and company logo available. In order to improve job listings and the overall experience across the site, there are plans to improve the company profiles adding new features.

Analytics

It has been a key component of the website that i will be adding and regularly improving and extending some form of analytics to show companies how performant their job posts are. This is a key feature that i plan to have built in time to release along side payments.

Email

As part of the forthcoming release with the planned payments and analytics features, email notifications such as automated job alerts and general communication between the site and our users is expected to be added.
