We're seeking an AI Engineer with deep machine learning expertise to join our dynamic team. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence and driving advancements in deep learning applications. Reporting to the VP of AI, you will implement, improve, and most importantly, you will help create machine learning models that will be integrated into Vercel's products. We are looking for individuals who are innovative, analytical thinkers, who value continuous learning, given the rapid advancement in ML technologies.

What You Will Do:

• Contribute to Vercel's AI roadmap
• Design and implement AI and machine learning systems
• Troubleshoot and bug fix
• Identify bottlenecks and improve software efficiency
• Write technical documents

Who You Are:

• You have at least 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experienced in building, scaling, and optimizing machine learning systems
• You have a background in computer science and mathematics, especially in statistics and algorithms
• You have utilized tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras
• Proficient in programming languages like Python or Java
• Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Experienced with popular machine learning frameworks
• Experienced in feature engineering to enhance model performance

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $175,000.00 - $245,000.00. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation.
